Chances of getting approved for American Express Blue for Students card?

I’m 19, soph in college. I have 1 credit card and haven’t been late or missed any payments since I got it (about 8 months ago). I had a private loan which I paid off in 6 months (never late on payments). I have a student job with the university.

* Please don’t answer “DON’T GET A CREDIT CARD!” That’s not what I’m looking for. Thanks.

Getting a credit card as a student?

I applied for a frontier airlines mastercard today, and I got declined for not having adequate income I think, but that doesn’t make sense considering I selected “student” under occupation. Is there anyone who is a student and was able to get a credit card with little or no income? Thanks.

Yes. My daughter just did, but she used an application mailed to her that was specifically soliciting student business.
