Odds are you won't find one. Since you have no credit, a secured card is the way to go. All of the ones I've seen have an annual fee. It may be worth it to get your credit started. You would only need the card for perhaps 6 months or a year, so you would only have to pay it the first year and then you could close the card after you get a basic, un-secured card. You would also need to put in a deposit, which you would get back when you close the card. Citi, Capital One, Bank of America are some quality companies that offer secured cards. Good luck!

Sorry, but if you have been applying *everywhere* and been declined, you aren't going to get a credit card. Well, at least, not an unsecured one.

There are some sub prime lenders out there that offer credit cards, but their fees are huge and take up half your credit limit.. which is stupid for you to even bother having. Also, you state you want one with no fee. Well, unfortunately, beggars cannot be choosers. You aren't in a position to dictate to credit card companies what *you* want. That comes after years of being a good customer and having a high credit rating.

First thing you need to do is STOP applying! All those inquiries you are generating are not doing your credit report any good. Every new application will see you have applied *everywhere* and will see you as a credit risk.

Go to your bank or credit union and ask them if they offer secured credit cards. That is about the only route you have open to you at this point since you are just starting out. Also, you will need a full time income or cosigner if you do not make enough to afford a credit card.

Stop applying. You are racking up quite a list of hard inquiries which looks like your are trying to overextend yourself.

If you are under 21, you will have problems getting any credit card. New law requires that you provide proof of sufficient income to qualify or have a parent co-sign. You will probably have to start with a secured card -- you pay a deposit which is held as collateral against the line of credit. Check with your bank. You will probably have to pay an annual fee.

There are no guarantees. Anyone who claims that their card is guaranteed is a spammer.

Are you under 21 and in school? If so, you are very unlikely to be approved unless a parent co-signs for you.

If you are a member of a credit union, that's a good place to apply. If you have a steady income, you are somewhat more likely to be approved than at a bank. Plus credit union credit cards often don't have an annual fee.

By the way, each time you get rejected your credit score goes down....making it even harder to be approved.

It sounds like you have been upgraded from your student card to a Platinum Mastercard.????
Are you still a student? When did this info change? If they have just done this in the last few days perhaps not everything has updated to date.
You should contact your bank. Don't worry about getting all your reports, those chances that NIL and he overstated his answer.

Ok what were the changes to your credit line? Did they decrease your credit limit or did they increase it? If they decreased your credit limit it means that you haven't managed your credit responsibly but if you have managed your credit responsibly the best thing to do first is to check your credit reports for inaccurate info which can be signs of identity theft to order your credit reports visit www.annualcreditreport.com there you can order your free annual credit reports from each of the three nationwide credit reporting agencies equifax, experian, and transunion. And if you don't see any negative items call your credit card company and ask them for an explanation. But if your credit limit has increased then Congratulations!! Because that has a positive impact on your credit score.

if you have solid credit history and a decent credit score you should be fine.
Amex blue is designed for students b/c you can carry over your balance every month unlike the regular amex which the balance has to be paid in full. I got one when I was in college, the rate is still pretty low as APR goes. Plus they have great customer service and people you can understand when you call in. They also have pay by phone for NO CHARGE.

No one can tell you whta your chances are except AMEX. If the card comes with an annual fee attached then forget it you already have one credit card.

Call or go online and apply see what they say

A pending transaction usually shows up right when you make a puchase (at least for me; i have chase). It could take a couple of days until that money is credited back to your account.

Credit cards have become a necessity in society nowadays, you can't go anywhere without having to use one. That's why it's imperative to maintain a good<!--credit rating and use your credit card smart. Lots of credit card related question been asked here and yours just another one. Check it out this website, hope it helps.

After all, without a credit card, it's harder to live, and especially hard to shop online. Lots of credit card related-->questions are often being asked and yours is just another one.
